Imagine you could hop into a time machine and buy one of the original character illustrations from Star Wars. Totally unique versions of Luke, R2D2, Chewbacca, the whole gang. Would you be interested?

That is what a storyteller NFT is: generated art the producers use to develop characters we will eventually see in a live action format (television, film, etc.).

Granted, our story ain't Star Wars. It's more 24 Hour Party People meets Juice and Kids with a touch of Sopranos, but the idea is the same. You have an opportunity to own a piece of the production before the content is released.

Finally, it's great art! These images make an especially fantastic PFP. And by simply holding one of our NFTs, you become a member of a community of Rogue benefactors that will help fuel our mission in a multitude of ways moving forward.

Rogue will use the mintpass strategy to mint a Rogue. Potential token holders can acquire a Rogue mintpass and will have to burn it to receive a Rogue NFT in the main collection.

There are three ways to go about getting a Rogue mintpass:

1) A portion of the Rogue mintpasses will be raffled away for free (free mint).

a) In addition to the 1 free Rogue mintpass, these raffle winners will automatically be added to the private sale allowlist, allowing them to purchase a second Rogue mintpass at market price.

2) The remainder of the Rogue mintpasses will be available for purchase on this website. There will be a private sale and a public sale. You must be on an allowlist in order to purchase a mintpass during the private sale.

a) In the unlikely event that the project doesn’t sell out during the private sale, potential token holders can purchase a Rogue mintpass during the public sale.

3) If you miss out on the initial free raffle/private sale/public sale, you may be able to purchase a Rogue mintpass on the secondary market.

There will be specific instructions posted on this website, by email to customers who have signed up to our Newsletter, and on the Twitter account for individuals who wish to participate in the free mint. We advise you to:

1) Sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of this page.

2) Follow the Twitter account and keep the notifications turned on for the announcement of the free mint instructions. Winners of the free mint raffle will be able to mint one free NFT from the collection, and will be added to the allowlist for the main private sale where they will be able to purchase a second NFT from the collection.

Rogue is a creative project centered around art, story-telling, and performance. There is a reason why you don't see the greatest artists in this space creating fungible tokens to go along with their NFTs. If we can think of an extremely compelling reason to have a fungible token, we will create one, but please don't buy into the collection with the expectation that you will get an fungible token airdrop.

Yuga Labs really did something special when they decided to do the MAYC airdrop (plus others) to BAYC holders. Since then, most derivative airdrops have been pretty disappointing. It's hard to view them as anything more than dilutive and in some cases the airdrops have hurt the original token holders.

We don't plan on ever doing a dilutive NFT airdrop for Rogue. That being said, YDKM studios, the parent company for Rogue, will create other NFT projects that are completely separate from the Rogue NFT collection at some point, well into the future (not anytime soon, we're focused on Rogue). Rogue NFT collectors should not assume that owning a Rogue will get them access to those communities.
